Brave Bear is a newly constructed 700sqft Cottage at Sanctuary Hills – a Christian retreat property located just a few miles from Blaine, TN – a 30 minute drive to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville and less than an hour to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. 

Equipped with a great living room and fireplace, full kitchen with appliances and dining, bathroom, and washer and dryer. Great place for a Vols football game or to visit to some great East Tennessee attractions.

The Space

The Brave Bear Cottage is designed for a comfortable and beautiful retreat. Up the front steps is the front porch where you’ll find rocking chairs to enjoy a cup of coffee with the sunrise in the East Tennessee mountains! 

Upon entry, you are greeted with the living room with a fireplace, TV, pull-out couch, recliner, and coffee table. Large windows are located on two of the three walls of the living room. 

Next to living room is a small cozy space with a table and four chairs to dine. The front of the Cottage is surrounded by windows for a perfect view of the Smokies and let in beautiful natural light. 

Directly in front of the dining area is the fully functioning kitchen, equipped with a bar and three stools, a dishwasher, stove and burners, coffee maker, refrigerator, silverware, pots, pans, knives, cooking utensils, cutting board, salt and pepper, oil, cups, coffee cups, bowls, and plates. Find all that you need to comfortably cook any meal! 

Through the hall, you’ll find a nook with shelving, a microwave, and cabinets to store your food and snacks! A few steps to the right is the bedroom with a cozy queen bed, two bedside tables with lamps, and a closet to store clothing and suitcases.

Exiting the bedroom to the right is the laundry room/utility closet. The small space provides additional storage for food, and a washer and dryer are available for use behind those doors! Directly across from the bedroom is the bathroom with a sink and cabinets, a mirror, toilet, and bathtub/shower.

The cottage is deep cleaned between every stay, and you are sure to have a freshly made bed with clean linens, the bathroom cabinets fully stocked with clean towels and hand rags.

Guest Access

At the Sanctuary Hills entrance, go up the paved road to a gravel driveway and Brave Bear Cottage can be found on your left. Parking is located to the right of the cottage and you enter up the side or front steps!

A number key will be given to you the day of your scheduled arrival and you will enter it into the smart-lock on the front door.
